Jess Beard

Jess is a happy Physiotherapist at Hiya Health Caboolture. In 2021, Jess completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at ACU (Brisbane) and commenced working at Body Smart Health from 2022.

Jess is invested in helping all people whether it be young children reach their developmental milestones or adults struggling with pain. Her goal as a physiotherapist is to make your day that little bit brighter so that everyone can enjoy their best life.

Her passions lie in neurological physiotherapy, specifically stroke, developmental disorders, cerebral palsy, and other brain conditions. Jess also has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, including helping those with long term shoulder, knee or back pain. To expand her knowledge, Jess is often listening to the latest podcasts or liaising with her colleagues to provide you with a high quality service.

When not at work, Jess loves throwing a good spiral pass on the touch footy field or lifting weights at the gym. Jess is often centering her plans around food whether it be treating herself to a good coffee after a run or cooking up a delicious meal. Jess’s down time includes walking her dog Theo and curling up with a good book/TV show. She is obsessed with gardening and indoor plants so don’t get her started on this because the conversation may never end!

“Hard choices, easy life. Easy choices, hard life. There is always going to be a part of life that is uncomfortable, so choose your discomfort.”
