Matt Batcheler


Matt is a dedicated Exercise Physiologist at Hiya Health. He completed his Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Central Queensland University in 2021. Following his undergraduate studies, Matt pursued a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the Australian Catholic University, graduating in 2023.

Matt joined the Hiya Health family shortly after completing his master’s degree and has been an invaluable member ever since. He has a keen interest in working with individuals who have neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, and those looking to enhance their athletic performance. Matt’s approach to exercise physiology is centred on personalised care, ensuring that each client receives the tailored support they need to achieve their health and fitness goals.

In his free time, Matt enjoys playing football, going to the gym, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter. His passion for sports and physical activity extends beyond his professional life, making him a relatable and inspiring figure for his clients.

Matt is committed to continuous learning and applying the latest research and techniques in exercise physiology to help his clients succeed. He believes in the power of movement and exercise to transform lives and is dedicated to making a positive impact on the health and well-being of the individuals he works with
