Why work with Amber?
Amber brings a wealth of experience from her time working in Auckland, where she was actively involved in community rehabilitation. Her focus was on the active management of a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, ranging from acute and sub-acute injuries to chronic pain presentations. She has worked with individuals across all age groups and ability levels, including athletes, children, older adults, and people with neurological conditions.
Recently, Amber has expanded her clinical expertise into women’s pelvic health physiotherapy, completing her Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Level 1 and Level 2 training. She now supports women experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pelvic pain, and postnatal recovery needs. Amber can support with internal examinations as well as more complex pelvic floor concerns. Amber is passionate about empowering women to understand their bodies, restore confidence, and return to the activities they love through evidence-based, individualised care.
Her diverse background has deepened her commitment to a holistic, client-centred approach. She believes in setting collaborative, clearly defined goals to ensure each treatment plan is effective, meaningful, and tailored to the individual. Amber’s focus is always on achieving long-term, sustainable improvements so her clients can move and feel their best.
Extensive experience in Clinical Pilates
With extensive training in Clinical Reformer and Mat Pilates, Amber integrates these methods with strength and conditioning principles, as well as hands-on techniques such as manual therapy and dry needling. This well-rounded approach allows her to manage each client’s unique needs with precision and care.
Outside of the clinic, Amber draws on her own background in competitive sports including ice hockey, figure skating, snow sports, adventure racing, running, and CrossFit. This firsthand experience enhances her ability to relate to active individuals and support them through every stage of their recovery and performance journey.
